These trays bring to your table a beautiful celebration of flavors and colors. The traditional Sushi Tray has become a lovely surface for serving all kinds of foods; imagine an assortment of fruits and vegetables, a delicious piece of grilled fish, and an array of cheeses, all of which are gorgeous on a handmade thin slab of glazed clay. Enjoy the richness of the glaze on the surface as it brakes on the edges of the raised corners and the edges.

It is an authentic aesthetic, whether it is ash glaze from wood growing in a Pacific Northwest National Forest, a Dune glaze that brings the landscape onto your table, or a wetland glaze with its blues, greens, and brown colors celebration.

All of my handmade ceramics are one of a kind, with intricate details that make each piece a unique work of art. Each Aspen Plate will have a special, unique canvas of color tones. It may range from a shiny finish to a matte look to a stone-like appearance depending upon where it is placed in the kiln. No two pieces are the same.

Learn how each piece is made in my guide to high-fire ceramics.
