2-Gallon Miso & Dry-Fermenting Vessel
High-fire ceramic 2-gallon fermenting vessel, finished with our Desert wood-ash glaze and designed especially for miso and dry fermentation methods such as nukazuke.
The vessel comes with two large stoneware weight stones to help keep the fermenting paste or vegetables submerged and securely in place.
The interior is glazed with our Earth Glaze, making it durable, easy to clean, and beautiful to use. The exterior reveals the natural character of the Desert wood-ash glaze, with earthy rust and mineral colors and rich, tactile textures. Its substantial size and weight make it a beautiful and grounding presence in the kitchen; the rough texture of the Desert glaze adds to the pleasure of holding and using this vessel.
