The seashore landscape comes to mind when you hold this Bowl With White Rim, glazed with Seashell glaze. This unique glaze is sourced from the tree ash of the Pacific Northwest forests. The colors range from a canopy of white to gray hues, with occasional flashes of blue or green streaks. It may range from a shiny finish, to a matte look, to a stone-like appearance depending upon where it is placed in the high fire kiln.
When we eat food, we are connecting with the earth.
